Course Overview

Environment, health, and safety (EHS) is a multidisciplinary field that focuses on the protection of human health and the environment in various settings, including worksites, communities, and public spaces. The main objectives of EHS are to identify and mitigate potential hazards, prevent accidents and promote a safe and healthy living and working environment.

The health and safety aspect involves creating organized efforts and procedures for identifying workplace hazards and reducing accidents and exposures to harmful situations and substances. This includes the training of personnel in accident prevention, accident prevention, accident response, emergency preparedness and use of protective clothing and equipment.

There are four assignments (continuous assessment tests), a research paper and one examination to be offered at the end of the course. Assignments account for 40%, research paper accounts for 30% while Examination accounts for 30% of the mark. Upon completion of the course, you shall be issued a Diploma Certificate and a course transcript.

Upon successful completion of the course, the participant will receive a Diploma Certificate of Merit and a transcript.
