Logistics is an innovative industry with constantly emerging business processes changes, enterprise software, tracking-and-reporting technologies, and business models. The industry is fiercely competitive both at the global scale and at the local domestic scale. Companies that can effectively manage procurement, just-in-time delivery, and relationships with third-party suppliers will be able to control their own costs, score win-win solutions with partners, ensure business continuity, and ultimately develop a core competency that underpins competitive advantage and better prices and service for customers. Participants will be required to submit 10 assignments, research paper and one final examination for the period of 12 months to demonstrate their understanding of the course content. Assignments account for 60%, research paper accounts for 30% while Examination accounts for 10% of the marks.
